Can this be resolved as Outlook is in it's current state (this customer is using Office 2007 and Exchange 2007) or would an upgrade to 2010 resolve the issue? (Maybe an option in the search or something like that?) From there, youll see the email Properties open, and the bottom of this window will be Internet Headers again, scrolling will be required to find the Message-ID. As the display name of the senders/receivers is shown and not the full email address this approach is hit and miss depending on the actual email contents. Basically he wants to be able to search for a domain name for example and find emails to/from people in that domain.

I have a customer who is wanting to know how to get Outlook search to include the message header. I will post what I believe is a much better answer to this question. Not sure why it was closed\locked out with the answer given. I don't think the answer accepted to the the following question was the best answer.
